Pot Distilled Rum
45% ABV / 90 PROOF
Our Pot Distilled Rum, made from select, regional Grade A US Fancy sugarcane syrups and molasses made from Florida sugar cane. It is one of the very few rums that is aged in barrels that previously held bourbon from the same distillery. We believe our Pot Distilled Rum is the ultimate continuation of Florida’s rum tradition.
COLOR: Light golden honey, brilliant clarity.
NOSE: Slight grassy note on entry shifting immediately to fruity notes, coconut, vanilla, brown sugar, and caramel. Hints of black tea and anise.
The middle is round with dried hay and a light buttery character. You will find hints of black tea, anise, and wet gravel in the finish.
TASTE: Entry is sweet, light and bright. Next, the brown sugar and fruity anise elements emerge. In the mid-palate, the molasses continues with vanilla and some warming toffee notes. The finish has a light woody astringency and vegetal honey character.
This is a versatile rum that is designed to work well in cocktails that typically feature white and amber rums. This works especially well paired with our Tiki Mix.
